How do I reset my D2L password?
In order to access D2L, you will need your IdentiKey username and password. If you need to reset your IdentiKey password, follow the instructions available at: https://cuidm.colorado.edu/pwreset/password_reset.html.

What is the maximum file size upload?
There are no file size limits for files uploaded to D2L; however, the ability to upload large files is influenced by your Internet connection and web browser. If a file is too large, the browser may time out or stop the upload.

What are the recommended files sizes for uploading?
There is no size limit imposed by D2L on individual files; however, there is still the possibility that the browser will time out when uploading large files. The time it takes to upload large files will depend on your Internet connection speed and web browser.
Can I access D2L on my phone, tablet pc or other handheld device?
Yes. When you go to learn.colorado.edu, your device should automatically load the mobile version of D2L. You can access content, view and respond to discussion topics and … in the mobile version of the site.

Why do I have to re-login after several hours of inactivity?
Many users access D2L from shared or public computers. In order to help keep their accounts secure,
D2L automatically logs out after three hours of inactivity.
How can a student change the name that is displayed for them in D2L?
Students can request a different display name by sending an email to Mary Ann O'Meara, D2L Escalated Support, at: Maryann.Omeara@colorado.edu.
Where does the nickname I provided in my profile appear in D2L?
The nickname you provide in your profile will be shown to others when they visit your profile. This is the only place your nickname can be seen.
