From a campus e-memo: The ATLAS Institute seeks innovative course proposals relevant to Interdisciplinary, technologically based research and production to be taught during the spring 2010 semester.

ATLAS has funding to support a small number of innovative experimental courses that explore the intersection of technology with various academic disciplines. This funding will typically provide for one semester through departmental buyout. The intention of this funding is that the instructor's originating department will in future semesters support the cross-listed course as part of the department's regular course rotation.

ATLAS strives to support interdisciplinary curricula that integrate critical and theoretical perspectives regarding technology with applied research and production. All teaching faculty are encouraged to submit proposals.

Priority will be given to departments and faculty who have not yet worked with ATLAS.
